Morning Links (November 6, 2012)

Some election coverage coming at you. One last question, observation and proposition.

First, the question: Has anyone ever really changed their mind on who to vote for based on political commercials?

Now, the observation: The two main parties combined have spent over 733 million dollars. They have spent 55 million of that on television ads in my state alone, and we rank 5th on the list.

Finally, the proposition: The first candidate to spend 55 million dollars on the alleviation of poverty and social justice causes worldwide wins my solitary support. Enough talk about how you care about the poor and marginalized. You had a chance to spend 55 million dollars on it and failed.
